About Me.
Hello, my name is Meagan Sanders. I have lived in the lovely town of Bellingham, WA for most of my life. Growing up in the Evergreen State gave me an appreciation of the outdoors and nature -- rain or shine. I love getting to know new people and care deeply about those in my life. I am very family oriented and enjoying having fun and laughing with my friends. Entertaining guests and making people feel welcome gives me great satisfaction.
Many of these personal traits filter into my professional self. As a worker, I enjoy being with people. I was in the customer-service field for over a year, and then spent almost two years as a preschool teacher for ages 1 to 5 years old. Working with such a wide range of people allowed me to become very creative in how to handle a multitude of social situations while remaining calm and professional. Through my schooling, I gained a great deal of knowledge on a variety of systems and how they interact with one another: ranging from my personal systems to group interactions, and as far as the international view -- see the Education page for examples of my work. The course work extended outside of the classroom through projects and internships that took me out into the community. Having this professional experience and education sets me up to be a very successful and useful worker.
